Terms & Conditions

Residential Cleaning Services

  1. Services Provided
    We provide professional cleaning services, including but not limited to general cleaning, carpet cleaning, end-of-tenancy cleaning, and other services as agreed. All services will be delivered with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

  2. Liability & Insurance
    We carry full public liability insurance to cover accidental damage or injury that may occur during the provision of our services.

However, we are not liable for:
● Pre-existing damage, including the age, condition, or prior wear of any surfaces, furnishings, or fittings.
● Normal wear and tear.
● Damage caused by faulty fixtures, fittings, or materials.
● Any loss or damage resulting from insufficient or incorrect information provided by the client.

Clients are responsible for securing valuables and informing us of any fragile, high-risk, or delicate items prior to the service.

  1. Payment Terms
    ● Payment is due immediately after the service is completed. We accept Bank Transfer, Cash, and EFTPOS.
    ● Our staff carry an EFTPOS machine for your convenience. Payment must be made on-site after the service.

Bank Transfer Requirements:
● If paying by bank transfer, clients must show proof of payment (receipt) to our staff before they leave the property.
● Scheduled or delayed payments are not accepted; the transaction must be processed immediately.

Late Payments:
● A late fee of 10% per day will be applied to all overdue invoices.
● Continued non-payment may result in referral to a debt collection agency or the Disputes Tribunal.
● All costs related to debt recovery — including legal and administrative fees (minimum $250.00 + GST) — will be added to the outstanding amount.

  1. Cancellations & Rescheduling
    ● Client Cancellations & Rescheduling:
    We require at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling.

○ Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $89.00 + GST cancellation fee.
○ No-shows or cancellations on arrival will be charged the full service amount.

● Company Cancellations:
If we need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a suitable alternative time.

  1. Refund Policy
    We are committed to providing high-quality service. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please notify us as soon as possible—preferably within 24 hours of completion.

Our standard resolution process is as follows:
● If the complaint is found to be genuine, a free re-clean will be offered as the first step.
● If the re-clean does not resolve the issue, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion.

  1. Access & Safety
    ● Clients must ensure safe, unobstructed access to the property.
    ● If our staff cannot gain access at the scheduled time and no prior arrangements have been made, the full service fee will still apply.
    ● The client is responsible for securing pets and ensuring a safe working environment.

  2. Non-Payment
    ● Unpaid invoices beyond 7 days will be referred to a debt collection agency or the Disputes Tribunal.
    ● Any associated costs, including administrative and legal fees, will be added to the total outstanding amount.

  3. Privacy
    We respect your privacy. All client information will be kept confidential and managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

  4. Changes to Terms
    This document is subject to change without notice.

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. It is the client’s responsibility to review the most current version available on our website.

  1. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be handled by the appropriate New Zealand courts.
